2006 Scott Family Estate Chardonnay
We are so proud to introduce the first release of our 2006 Scott Family Estate Chardonnay, a tribute to the winery owner’s father.
This wine has a rich, complex nose and boasts abundant aromas of apricot, papaya, white peach and tropical fruit.
On the palette, the wine exhibits endless amounts of ripe Hawaiian pineapple, honey and peach flavors, leading to an extremely long finish.
Food Recommendation:
The wine is ideal for pairing with any richly textured fish, traditional poultry, pasta dishes with light cream sauce or simply enjoying a glass or two by itself.
Winemaker's Notes:
Scott Family Chardonnay is crafted from a blend of Dijon clones grown on the estate in the Arroyo Seco appellation of Monterey County, California. Arroyo Seco Chardonnay is reputed to be the most flavorful Chardonnay among the coolest growing regions of California.
With such outstanding grapes, we have combined the attributes of malolactic fermentation and sur-lees aging to yield a Chardonnay with aromatic elegance, opulent flavors and an exceedingly long, balanced finish.
